HONG KONG Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl), the airport's No 1 ground handler, moved 180,033 tonnes in February - a 34.7 per cent year-on-year increase.

Export volume in February was up 42.2 per cent against last year's to 91,8000 tonnes while import volume for the month also showed a year-on-year growth of 31.0 per cent to 50,536 tonnes, said the Hactl statement.

Transshipment tonnage in February recorded an increase of 23.6 per cent, with a total of 37,697 tonnes of cargo being handled.
